Because customer requirements related to payload mass, shape and size vary, and because the space available for gravity offload devices is also application dependent, most of CSA's low frequency suspension system products are customized in some way.
 

Gravity offloaders can be used one at a time or in groups. The nature of the soft support means that multiple units can pick up large payloads, distributing the support over a large area. This installation combined active and passive units (11 total) to support a 35, 000-pound payload.

Vacuum compatibility is often a requirement, and it is not acceptable for excess air from the pneumatic systems to compromise vacuum conditions. CSA's offload devices work within vacuum chambers by providing adequate internal volumes that allow excess air to be captured.
