CSA Engineering is now an ISO 9001 registered company, and its quality management system meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.
The quality system in place prior to the ISO registration had been approved by several key customers, and CSA has delivered space flight and other
hardware within that system. The formal ISO certification follows an internal effort over the last two years that extended and addressed gaps in the existing system.
According to CSA Vice President, Eric Anderson, “Because of our history of developing and delivering critical hardware, the steps towards formal ISO
registration were mostly familiar ones. The procedures we have in place provide CSA with a means to manage the quality of our products, services, and the overall business.
Our customers can now have additional confidence in CSA, with the formalization of methods that have been a part of our business for years.
Our quality system will support further steady growth in deliveries of vibration suppression and motion control products.
The more formal procedures will help ensure that the processes and methods we’ve followed over the years continue to be refined and migrated from the heads of individuals to
the broader company.”
The ISO 9000 family of standards represents an international consensus on good management practices that have been distilled into a set of standardized
requirements for a quality management system. CSA Engineering received its registration from Platinum Registration, Inc. of Denver CO.
