The SA1, SA5, and SA10 are standard products. All have a high ratio of force output to physical volume. Actuators are specified as SAx-f where x is the zero-peak continuous force output at high frequency in pounds and f is the primary resonant frequency in Hz. For example, the SA5-60 produces 5 pounds force and has a 60 Hz resonance. The actuators produce much larger forces at frequencies near resonance, and can be overdriven for limited durations at moderate duty cycles when there is opportunity for adequate heat dissipation.
