A complete standalone miniaturized system for isolating the disturbance
force created by tactical cryocoolers consists
of the:
· VIS6 active hexapod (described here) · Load cell signal
conditioning system
· Standalone DSP, power amplifier and user interface
system
· Cable runs
Key Features
· 40 dB of axial and radial transmitted force reduction at
first tone
· Additional reduction for the next 4 tones (more now
possible)
· Completely standalone system (requires only power
and reference cryocooler drive signal)
· Demonstrated in-vacuum operation
· Extremely compact hollow cylinder form factor
63.5 mm inner diameter
- 114.3 mm outer diameter
- 67.8 mm tall
· Extremely low cryocooler local additional power
dissipation
· Built in passive vibration isolation stage
Customization

All features of the VIS6 can be customized to meet a user's requirements such as accomodating an
existing cryocooler flange adapter and dewar mount flange bolt patterns, target force reductions levels, attachment bolt pattern,
bottom plane mounting patterns, overall packaging / geometry, cable run length, power amplifier type (lab, space flight), etc.
